The MAX9117/MAX9118 feature an on-board 350nA Per Comparator (MAX9119/MAX9120) 1.252V 1.75% reference and draw an ultra-low supply 600nA Per Comparator with Reference current of only 600nA, while the MAX9119/MAX9120 (MAX9117/MAX9118) (without reference) require just 350nA of supply current. These features make the MAX9117MAX9120 family of Guaranteed to Operate Down to +1.6V comparators ideal for all 2-cell battery-monitoring/man- Internal 1.252V 1.75% Reference agement applications. (MAX9117/MAX9118) The unique design of the output stage limits supply-cur- Input Voltage Range Extends 200mV rent surges while switching, virtually eliminating the sup- Beyond-the-Rails ply glitches typical of many other comparators.
