Fuji 4NK0HK is a four-engine, long-range, wide-body airliner manufactured by Fuji Heavy Industries. It is the first jetliner to be developed and built in Japan. Its fuselage is 24 m (79 ft) long with a wingspan of 44 m (145 ft). It has a maximum seating capacity of 316 passengers, in a configuration of primarily two-class seating with maximum takeoff weight of up to 216,000 kg (476,272 lb). Its two Rolls-Royce Conway RCo43 engines provide a maximum speed of 917 km/h (571 mph) at 36,000 ft (11,000 m) and a cruising range of up to 6,600 nautical miles (12,220 km). The 4NK0HK is fitted with wingtip-mounted fuel tanks, allowing it to carry extra fuel and extend its range. In addition it has four Pratt & Whitney JT8D-7A engines which provides an improved fuel efficiency and its cabin space can be configured to carry from 300 to 400 passengers in a high-density layout.
