Need Kingspan Sensors most recent innovation is the Watchman Anywhere Pro
(WAP). A one-piece oil monitoring solution that checks fuel levels and

Lively Home by GreatCall is a system of remote sensors that enables professional
carers and families to monitor the movement patterns of their patients
and older relatives. Business Need The Lively Home solution is based on
activity sensors that log daily routines – for example, attaching a sensor
to a pillbox indicates when medication is being taken, or a sensor on the
refrigerator will show that snacks and meals are being prepared. It needed
a connectivity partner to enable their solution to work effectively. Solution
A central hub receives activity signals from each of the sensors to show
daily actions meet expected routines. That information is then shared with
carers and family members via an online dashboard through a secure login.
For personal use, the customer can choose who is allowed access. The system

Business Need The idea for the Moocall calving sensor came about
when one of the Moocall founding team, Niall Austin lost a heifer and her
calf due to a difficult calving back in 2010. He had a theory that a device
to measure tail movement might be able to predict the onset of calving
and brought the idea to the other Moocall founders Michael Stanley and
Emmet Savage. After many months of research and development the MooCall
device was born, however they needed robust and reliable, global connectivity
with roaming capability to ensure that this critical data could be transferred
the crucial moment. Vodafone IoT worked closely with MooCall to implement
a solution that works seamlessly every time, wherever the cow might be
situated.
DriveNow is a carsharing joint venture between the BMW Group and Sixt
AG. It was founded in June 2011 and both companies hold a 50 percent stake
in the joint venture. The BMW Group contributes the vehicles and vehicle
technologies, while Sixt AG provides the premium services, the rental expertise,
the IT systems, and an extensive network of stations for the registration
of customers.
Business Need DriveNow wanted to offer a modern and flexible mobility
concept enabling people to reserve a vehicle, and collect and return it

Platform, DriveNow vehicles can be located by smartphone application or

logged was previously only captured at a garage and sent to the authorities
the next time the car was serviced; meaning authorities might only be notified
several months after the incident. Solution Vodafone supports Dräger with
Global SIM cards for their Dräger Interlock® 7000 immobiliser, enabling
data to be transferred to the Dräger data centre immediately, where it
is then processed and sent to the relevant authorities.
