About DC Power Connectors

DC Power Connectors

DC Power Connectors are electrical connectors designed to supply direct current power to devices such as computers, printers, and cell phones. They are also used in a variety of heavy equipment and can be used to transfer electricity from an AC power source to multiple DC devices. They are usually made from copper, brass, or other non-conductive materials such as nylon. Typical DC power connectors have a male connector, which plugs into the female mating connector. Each connector contains a positive and negative terminal, which are used to control the output of the power. DC power connectors are available in a variety of configurations, including barrel connectors, flat blade connectors, and coaxial connectors. The size and shape of the connector will vary depending on the application.
