About RF Interconnects
RF Interconnects
RF interconnects refer to the physical connection of components or nodes inside a system as well as between electronic devices. These connections involve circuits and/or devices used to interface and connect electrical components and systems. RF interconnects are primarily used in high-frequency superheterodyne receivers, transmitters, and other RF devices to provide a reliable physical link for the information flow between components. The most popular RF interconnects are coaxial cables, twisted pair cables, and printed circuit boards. RF interconnects are superior to hard-wired connections because of their superior signal integrity, improved noise immunity, and reduced susceptibility to radio frequency interference (RFI).
