Beckhoff Ethernet Modules

Ethernet Modules are electronic modules that enable communication over a local area network for long distances. They provide a connection for computers, switches, routers and other devices to enable a seamless connection. Modules allow LANs (Local Area Networks) to be connected to each other and to the internet. There are several types of modules depending on the type of data-transfer protocol used. Common protocols include Ethernet, wireless Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber channel and Token Ring. The most common types of Ethernet Modules are RJ45 and SFP modules. RJ45 is commonly used to connect computing devices with Cat 5/6 cables while SFP modules are used to connect switches, routers and other networking devices using fiber-optic cables. Ethernet Modules are essential in creating and maintaining efficient, secure and cost-effective Local Area Networks.
