About Fingerprint Sensor Modules
Fingerprint Sensor Modules
A fingerprint sensor module is an electronic device used to capture the physical characteristics of a person's fingerprint, typically the edges and whorls of the ridges on the pads of the fingers. The sensor is usually part of a larger security system and can be used to identify people by their fingerprints. The sensor is usually connected to a computer or other type of terminal where the information can be accessed and/or stored. In some cases, the fingerprint is also matched to a database of previously enrolled users.
