Schurter Common Mode Chokes / Filters

Common mode chokes, also known as common mode filters, are commonly used in power and data cables. They work by limiting the amount of electromagnetic interference (EMI) that is able to pass through the cable. This helps reduce the amount of noise and oscillations that can occur when the cable is exposed to external electromagnetic fields and causes the cable to act as a filter. Common mode chokes are able to help systems maintain the highest possible performance and ensure there is no disruption of signals due to EMI. They come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and materials, allowing for the perfect choke for any system.
