MELF (Metal Electrode Lead-Free) Resistors are surface-mount electronic components used to provide electrical resistance in circuits. They are models of resistors and usually have a ceramic body coated with an epoxy paint. They are also known as “surface mount resistors”. They come in different sizes and shapes and offer a variety of resistance values. MELF resistors are more resistant to environmental deterioration, such as humidity, heat, and shock.
