This voltage can be altered with knobs, sliders, and buttons on the power supply’s front face. Many models also offer various protection and monitoring features such as output surge protection, overvoltage alarms, and readouts of the current and voltage output. Power supplies typically offer variable current limits as well, to ensure that a device can receive the correct amount of power without being overloaded.
