About LCD Drivers
HTCSEMI LCD Drivers
LCD drivers are integrated circuits that allow a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) to work. They convert digital video signals into the signals required by the LCD panel, as well as providing power to the panel. LCD drivers are typically integrated into the LCD panel but can also be provided as a separate, add-on board. They come in a variety of sizes, from a few pins to multiplexers with hundreds of pins, which are required to drive a large LCD panel. Some LCD drivers are designed to handle multiple resolutions, while others are specific to a certain resolution.
