The NCA9555 with TSSOP-24 I/O Expanders ROHS is a system on-chip (SoC) for multi-purpose reconfigurable I/O (MPRIO). It was designed by NovoSense to provide more flexibility and cost savings to industrial and automotive systems. It is a low power, cost-effective device designed to increase inputs and outputs without the need to add multiple chips. The device has up to 24 I/O, with programmable digital filters and voltage levels, and can support 1.8 V - 5.0 V supply voltage range. The high-speed switching performance of this chip will ensure fast reconfigurable I/O across the entire range of applications. The NCA9555 also offers last state-read enable and pulse-width modulator, which can be used to control the number of times an output signal will be delivered to the required device. Furthermore, it has an internal temperature sensor, which can be used to monitor the temperature of the system and trigger a thermal shutdown. This chip meets the ESD requirements for the automotive industry and is designed and produced in a TSMC process.
