About LVDS Interface IC
Analog Devices LVDS Interface IC
An LVDS (low voltage differential signal) interface IC is an integrated circuit (IC) used to interface components that use an LVDS signal. These ICs allow components to transfer data over a single pair of twisted copper wire with high speeds and low power consumption. The LVDS Interface ICs typically come in two varieties, transmitter and receiver. The transmitter IC can be used to convert standard logic signals into LVDS format, whereas the receiver IC will convert LVDS signals back into standard logic. The ICs are typically packaged in either small outline integrated circuit (SOIC) or small outline package (SOP) packages, making them compatible with most circuit boards and applications.
