The COS485RS with SOP-8 RS-485/RS-422 ICs ROHS is a series of fully integrated, highly flexible, and configurable ICs designed for low power communication in industrial automation, building automation, and security applications. The COS485RS ICs are compliant to the EIA/TIA-422A and EIA/TIA-485-A standards. The IC is designed for up to 32 nodes in the network and can operate in half-duplex or full-duplex mode. The COS485RS features a low power consumption of less than 200uA and is RoHS compliant. It offers programmable transmit and receive data rate up to 250kbps and features data mute, programmable fail-safe configuration, and adjustable receiver sensitivity. It also supports short circuit and open circuit protection. This IC is manufactured by COSINE and comes in a package with SOP-8 pin-out.
