Rohm EEPROM

EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) is a type of non-volatile memory used in computers and other electronic devices to store small amounts of data that must be retained even when the device is powered off. It is a type of non-volatile memory that can be electronically programmed, erased, and re-programmed. EEPROMs are used for storing small amounts of data that must be retained even when the device is powered off, such as data for configuration settings or device calibration. EEPROMs are different from other types of non-volatile memories like DRAM and flash memories, which require complex controllers and as a result cost more. However, EEPROMs have longer erase/write cycles and are used in applications that require frequent updates.
