About Industrial Humidity Sensors
Industrial Humidity Sensors
Industrial humidity sensors are used to measure the amount of water vapor in a given environment. They are used to keep track of environmental conditions in industrial spaces such as warehouses, factories and greenhouses. This helps maintain interior conditions to ensure the produce or goods are maintained at specific humidity levels for maximum efficiency. Industrial humidity sensors are most commonly found in the form of capacitive hygrometers and resistive hygrometers. Capacitive hygrometers measure the capacitance of a material when exposed to moisture and can be used to determine relative humidity. Resistive hygrometers measure the electrical resistance between two electrodes when exposed to water vapor. Both types of industrial humidity sensors can accurately measure levels of water vapor in environments and provide long-term stability and resistance to corrosion and other environmental influences.
