About Soldering

Soldering

Soldering is a process in which two or more metal components are joined together using a filler metal (soldering alloy) which is melted at temperatures above 840°F (450°C). The two components are heated to the point where they melt and flow into each other, forming a strong, continuous bond. Soldering is a popular method of joining electrical and electronic components and is used extensively in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment.
