Crimpers are tools used to permanently join two pieces of metal, or other materials. The crimper tool creates pressure on a piece of metal which causes it to form an indentation. When two pieces of metal are pressed together in this manner, the indented end creates an interlocking connection known as a crimp. This type of connection provides a secure, tight bond that cannot be easily pulled apart.
