Flat Cables

Flat cables are a type of cable that use flat, ribbon-like cables instead of round, insulated wires. They have been around for decades, but have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their many advantages. Flat cables are often used in the audio and video industries, as the flat shape of the cables makes them easy to fit and route in tight spaces. They are also relatively lightweight, and they offer superior immunity to electromagnetic interference and crosstalk than traditional round cables. This makes them ideal for devices with complex electronic circuit boards, such as laptops and tablets. Flat cables are also generally easier to install since they require fewer connections and can be quickly clamped down.
