The 3M SJ6115 is a flame-resistant, tear-resistant electrical tape used for high-demand applications such as motor leads and splicing. The 10-mil thick silicone rubber construction of the tape is rated for primary electrical insulation to 600 volts for high-voltage applications, as well as for use in splicing and terminating motor leads. The special adhesive provides excellent adhesion and flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -60°F to +500°F, making it suitable for use in dry, as well as wet environments. The tape resists abrasion, weather, water, oil, acids, and other chemicals. The 3M SJ6115 is UL Recognized and CSA certified.
