1. Aavid Thermalloy is a manufacturer of a wide range of thermal management solutions. These solutions include heatsinks, fans, liquid cooling solutions, thermal interface materials, and connectors.
2. Heatsinks are designed to draw heat away from sensitive electrical components by providing a plate, fin, or extrusion design with ample surface area to release heat into its natural environment.
3. Fans are used in combination with heatsinks to move air past the heat sink, allowing air convection to pull the heat away from the electronic component.
4. Liquid cooling solutions include cold plates, heat exchangers, pumps, and valves that utilize a liquid cooling medium such as water or oil to transport heat from an electronic component to a cooling system.
5. Thermal interface materials are used to form a thermally insulating barrier between an electronic component and a heatsink or other cooling solution.
