Thhis kit is a prooven applicaation-circuit ddesign for thee ACT2813QYY-T charger wwith power ppath and singgle USB outpputs. The EVVK contains a single micro-USB inpuut and USB ouutput. It provides a 2.4A output. It is configured tto charge a bbattery with 2.4A. The EEVK operatess with very higgh charge effficiency of 911% and discharge efficieency of 95% (Vbat=4.1V). This EVK ddemonstratess the ACT2813QY-T chargger, but otheer ACT2813xxxx options ccan be evaluated on this EVK by repplacing the ICC and any otheer necessaryy componentts. The followwing table shows the diffeerences betwween these ICCs. TThe EVK provvides up to5VV/2.1A outpuut at 550 kHzz switching frequency. Itt operates froom VIN=4.5VV to 5.5V to ccharge a 1S Li-Ion batterry. Gerber filees are availaable to mi- nimize time--to-market for applications that want tto use the EVVK as an endd product.
