SLD-70 C2A is a two-channel system designed to measure and map light sources with extremely high accuracy. It utilizes two photodiode arrays (PDA) and a CCD camera, to provide both true spatial mapping of LEDs, laser diodes, and other sources of light in a single exposure. It measures individual points on the light source simultaneously, with each measurement providing intensity, location and angle of orientation, as well as detailed mapping of the spatial characteristics of the light. This system has been suitable for use in imaging microscopy applications, and spectral, photometric, and laser diode testing applications. This system also provides improved camera and illumination stability, allowing precise measurement of pulses, pulses with variable polarization, and wavelength measurements.
