A4928 Automotive Half-Bridge MOSFET Driver FEATURES AND BENEFITS DESCRIPTION The A4928 is an N-channel power MOSFET driver capable of Half-bridge MOSFET driver controlling MOSFETs connected in a half-bridge arrangement Bootstrap gate drive for N-channel MOSFET bridge and is specifically designed for automotive applications with Cross-conduction protection with adjustable dead time high-power inductive loads, such as brush DC motors solenoids Charge pump regulator for low supply voltage operation and actuators. 5.5 to 50 V supply voltage operating range 5 V CMOS Logic I/O The A4928 is intended for automotive systems that must meet SPI-compatible serial interface 2 ASIL requirements. In common with other Allegro A SIL Bridge control by direct logic inputs or serial interface products, this device incorporates features to complement Programmable gate drive proper system design, allowing users to achieve the required Current sense amplifier ASIL level. Programmable diagnostics 2 A unique charge pump regulator provides full gate drive for Automotive AEC-Q100 qualified 2 battery voltages down to 5.5 V for most applications. APPl ICATIONS The half bridge can be controlled by independent logic-level Anti-lock braking systems (ABS) inputs or through the SPI-compatible serial interface.
