MicroSystemsThe ACS720KLATR-15AB-T with SOIC-16 Current Sensors ROHS is a surface-mount integrated current sensor manufactured by Allegro MicroSystems. The device is based upon a Bi-CMOS ASIC technology and utilizes a hall-effect based linear current sensing technology to accurately measure current in low voltage AC lines. It can detect up to 15 A of continuous DC or narrow pulse current up to 2kHz. The device features an integrated 2.5V reference regulator, over-current protection, and low-power consumption. The SOIC-16 package provides an optional enhanced flexi-tab configuration to easily connect and configure the device. For added protection, the device is fully compliant with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standard.
