1557-VI001 is a powerful yet compact microcontroller module manufactured by Alpha. It is an ARM Cortex-M3 processor that is able to run at speeds of up to 80 MHz, and includes a range of 16-bit or 32-bit digital and analog I/O, an LCD controller/driver, an SD card interface, I2C and SPI serial interfaces, an Ethernet MAC and PHY, and an onboard crystal oscillator. Its on-board debug interface supports JTAG operations, as well as streaming data output, which makes it great for embedded development and system-level debugging. Its wide range of peripherals, low power consumption and small form factor make it an ideal solution for small embedded applications. Additionally, 1557-VI001 can be operated at either 3.3V or 5V and is shipped with a firmware library for easy programming.
