Centauri 7054/19 OR005 is part of the Alpha Centauri exoplanet system, located some 4.4 light-years away from our Sun. It is a super-Earth exoplanet orbiting the stellar component of the Alpha Centauri triple star system. It is approximately 1.7 times larger than Earth and has a mass of 1.6 times greater. It is one of the closest known exoplanets to our Solar System and has an orbital period of 5.64 days around its host star. It is the innermost exoplanet of the Alpha Centauri system, located between the Sun-like component stars Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B. The planet has been observed to be tidally locked due to its close proximity to its star, meaning that the same face of the planet is always lit. The planet's atmosphere is expected to be composed of hydrogen and helium, with possible traces of water vapor, carbon dioxide, and other gases. It is likely too cold to support any form of Earth-like habitability, as its average temperature is estimated to be around minus-250 to minus-150 degrees Celsius.
