's Ultra-Low Power Apollo Family
The APOLLO512-KCR is the smallest, lowest power embedded microcontroller, part of the Apollo family of products by Ambiq Micro. This device is specifically designed for always-on, always-listening voice-enabled IoT applications, like voice identification and authentication, natural language processing, wake-up I/O, and ultra-low power always-on sensors, to operate with extreme energy efficiency. The Apollo512-KCR has an ARM Cortex-M4F core with 512K of Flash and 64K of SRAM, built with a patented Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology Platform (SPOT™). This core is combined with an embedded 8-bit micro-controller unit (MCU), to enable fast, low-power application development, and it includes a variety of peripherals and support for bluetooth and communication protocols. The Apollo512-KCR has super low current leakage, allowing it to achieve the industry best power efficiency profile, with a peak current of only 2.8µA/MHz and total system deep sleep current as low as 2.5µA. The Apollo512-KCR is also extremely power-efficient when running at full frequency, with a peak power of only 2.8µA/MHz. The ultra-low-power Apollo family of products enables device manufacturers to develop smarter, better connected, longer lasting designs.
