The ams AS1115DB is an LED driver with user-programmable 16-bit intensity control and adjustable current that can be used to drive arrays of up to 30 LEDs from a single supply. The AS1115DB offers dimming range up to 0.001% of full intensity and a wide range of input supply voltages from 1.8V to 5.5V. It also provides protection for LEDs, such as temperature/current monitoring, over-voltage and ESD. The IC requires simple, low-cost external components, making it well-suited for illuminating various types of displays.
