The AS1902C31Z is an active automotive-grade GPS receiver module, manufactured by ams (formerly known as Austriamicrosystems). It is designed for use in automotive navigation, tracking, and telematics applications. The module is based on a high-sensitivity MTK3M2-WA chipset and is compliant with A-GPS and GLONASS protocols. It features ultra low power consumption and enhanced performance, including optimized cold start times, fast TTFF (Time-To-First-Fix) and superior position tracking. The receiver also offers small chip antenna, high sensitivity, and high accuracy, making it ideal for accurate vehicle tracking and navigation. The AS1902C31Z module is available in a compact, surface mount package and can be easily integrated into a variety of automotive GPS applications.
