AS1917Z-T is a low voltage, dual logic output Hall-Effect sensor from ams. It is designed for motion detection and speed sensing applications, and provides a repeated and precise switch point over a wide supply voltage and temperature range. The device detects the presence and motion of a ferrous target, such as a gear tooth or a rotating magnet, and can be used for speed and direction sensing. The AS1917Z-T has integrated temperature compensation, pull-up and pull-down resistors, hysteresis, and a short-circuit holdoff. It also features low power consumption, high impedance levels, and a low current offset.
