The AS5045-SS_EK_AB is a magnetic rotary encoder from ams that provides high-accuracy rotary position sensing. It features a 12-bit resolution and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +105 °C. The encoder offers contactless, non-contact sensing of absolute angular position via integrated Hall effect technology, with a signal resolution of 0.087° and a low latency of 6 µs.
