The AC1310 is part of a family of microelectromechanical (MEMS) accelerometers made by Analog Devices. It is a low-power, small form factor tri-axial accelerometer that is designed for use in a variety of industrial, medical, and consumer applications. The device features a low power consumption of less than 4 µA, a dynamic range of up to ±16g, and a resolution of up to 20 bits (±2048 counts/g). The AC1310 also has several features that make it suitable for a range of applications, such as temperature compensation and a user-controlled programmable filter. Additionally, the AC1310 has an HMC6343 integrated 3-axis magnetometer which enables compass heading, gravity vector, and tilt compensation and an EM7180 embedded sensor hub for orienting the accelerometer data for a wide range of applications.
