The AD5662ARMZ-1REEL7 digital-to-analog (D/A) converter contains an input register to allow temporary storage of the digital word, a current-output DAC, and an output amplifier to provide the buffered analog voltage. Manufactured by Analog Devices, the DAC supports a wide input voltage of 2.7 V to 5.5 V, and provides a high-resolution, 16-bit, voltage output. Its low differential nonlinearity (DNL) of ±1 LSB, temperature-independent gain with calibration, and low power consumption of 80 mW at 3.3 V make it suitable for even the most demanding precision-processing applications. The converter supports both 4-wire and 3-wire serial interface and is supplied in a small SSOP16 package.
