Data Sheet ADA4098-1/ADA4098-2 50 V, 1 MHz, 165 A per Channel, Robust, Over-The-Top, Precision Op Amps FEATURES GENERAL DESCRIPTION Ultrawide common-mode input range: V 0.1 V to V + 70 V The ADA4098-1 and ADA4098-2 are single/dual robust, precision, S S rail-to-rail input and output operational amplifiers (op amps) with Wide power supply voltage range: +3 V to +50 V (to 25 V for inputs that operate from V to +V and beyond, which is referred PSRR) S S to in this data sheet as Over-The-Top . The devices feature offset Low power supply current: 165 A per channel (typical) voltages of <35 V, input bias currents (I ) of <700 pA, and can B Low input offset voltage: 35 V maximum operate on single or split supplies that range from 3 V to 50 V. Low input offset voltage drift: 0.5 V/C maximum (B grade) The ADA4098-1 and ADA4098-2 draw 165 A of supply current per Low input voltage noise channel. 1/f noise corner: 6 Hz typical The ADA4098-1 and ADA4098-2 Over-The-Top input stages have 400 nV p-p typical at 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz robust input protection features for abusive environments. The 17 nV/Hz typical at 100 Hz inputs can tolerate up to 80 V of differential voltage without damage High speed or degradation to dc accuracy. The operating common-mode input range extends from rail-to-rail and beyond, up to 70 V > V , GBP: 1.05 MHz typical for f = 2.5 kHz TEST S independent of the +V supply. Slew rate: 0.85 V/s typical at V = 25 V S OUT Low power supply current shutdown: 20 A maximum The ADA4098-1 and ADA4098-2 are unity-gain stable and can drive loads requiring up to 20 mA per channel. The devices can Low input offset current: 700 pA maximum also drive capacitive loads as large as 200 pF. The amplifiers are Large signal voltage gain: 126 dB minimum for V = 3.5 V OUT available with low power shutdown. CMRR: 120 dB minimum at V = 0.1 V to +70 V CM PSRR: 123 dB minimum at V = +3 V to 25 V The ADA4098-1 is available in a standard, 6-lead thin small out- SY line transistor (TSOT) package. The ADA4098-2 is available in Input overdrive tolerant with no phase reversal an 8-lead standard small outline (SOIC N) package, 8-lead mini 3 kV HBM and 1.25 kV FICDM small outline package (MSOP), and 10-lead lead-frame chip-scale Wide temperature range: 55C to +150C (H grade) package (LFCSP).
