LT8301 42V Micropower No-Opto IN Isolated Flyback Converter with 65V/1.2A Switch FEATURES DESCRIPTION n 2.7V to 42V Input Voltage Range The LT 8301 is a micropower isolated flyback converter. n 1.2A, 65V Internal DMOS Power Switch By sampling the isolated output voltage directly from the n Low Quiescent Current: primary-side flyback waveform, the part requires no third n 100A in Sleep Mode winding or opto-isolator for regulation. The output voltage n 350A in Active Mode is programmed with a single external resistor. Internal n Boundary Mode Operation at Heavy Load compensation and soft-start further reduce external com- n Low-Ripple Burst Mode Operation at Light Load ponent count. Boundary mode operation provides a small n Minimum Load <0.5% (Typ) of Full Output magnetic solution with excellent load regulation. Low n V Set with a Single External Resistor ripple Burst Mode operation maintains high efficiency at OUT n No Transformer Third Winding or Opto-Isolator light load while minimizing the output voltage ripple.
