The DS1818R-10+T&R with Supervisor Integrated Circuit; power on reset monitor (PoR) manufactured by Analog Devices is an electronic supervisor IC that provides an easy-to-use and cost-effective solution to monitor power on reset (PoR) events in various applications. This IC features an integrated comparator with temperature, power, and voltage sensing inputs that provides a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It provides a wide power input range of 3V to 28Vdc and a wide input voltage range of 1.4V to 5.5Vdc. Additionally, the IC has two externally adjustable voltage thresholds to indicate a power on reset event. The PoR monitor also features a current limiter to protect against inrush current up to 20A and to provide a rugged solution. The IC also includes a power-on reset timeout feature with an adjustable timeout period from 0ms to 2000ms to prevent against false PoR events.
