The DS2401P+T&R with Serial Number Registration Silicon Serial Number is a serial number device manufactured by Analog Devices. It is a 64-bit, low-cost, 512-bit read/write memory designed to provide a permanently assigned serial number for use in a variety of data storage and tracking applications. The serial number is a 4-byte solution that can be used to identify a specific product in an application or in a database. The device also features 1.2 kB of user-programmable read/write memory and is able to operate from a variety of power sources including battery, 5 Vdc power supplies, and an on-board CMOS oscillator. The DS2401P+T&R device is capable of operating over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C. Additionally, it is packaged in a 3-wire, 8-pin, and micro leadframe package, making it ideal for wide variety of applications.
