They contain a low power, high speed, logic interface 16-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On AD7915: 4 mW at 1 MSPS (VDD only) the CNV rising edge, the AD7915/AD7916 sample the voltage 7 mW at 1 MSPS (total) difference between the IN+ and IN pins. The voltages on these AD7916: 2 mW at 500 kSPS (VDD only) pins typically swing in opposite phases between 0 V and V . REF 3.7 mW at 500 kSPS (total) The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set 70 W at 10 kSPS independent of the supply voltage, VDD. The power consumption Proprietary serial interface: SPI-/QSPI-/MICROWIRE-/DSP- of the AD7915/AD7916 scales linearly with throughput. 1 compatible 10-lead packages: MSOP and 3 mm 3 mm LFCSP The AD7915/AD7916 are serial peripheral interface (SPI) Wide operating temperature range: 40C to +125C compatible, which features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisy-chain several ADCs on a single 3-wire bus. They are APPLICATIONS compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V logic using the Automated test equipment separate VIO supply. Data acquisition systems The AD7915/AD7916 are available in a 10-lead MSOP or a Medical instruments 10-lead LFCSP with operation specified from 40C to +125C.
