HMC-C009 v05.0711 GaAs MMIC I/Q MIXER MODULE 4.0 - 8.5 GHz Features Wide iF Bandwidth: DC - 3.5 GHz image r ejection: 35 dB LO to r F isolation: 40 dB High input iP3: +23 dBm Hermetically s ealed Module Field r eplaceable s MA Connectors Typical Applications -55 C to +85 C Operating Temperature The HMC-C009 is ideal for: 5 Telecommunications Equipment Test Equipment General Description Military Radios, Radar & ECM The HMC-C009 is a passive i/Q MMiC mixer housed Space Systems in a miniature hermetic module which can be used as either an image r eject Mixer or a s ingle s ide- Functional Diagram band Upconverter. The module utilizes two standard Hittite double balanced mixer cells and a 90 degree hybrid fabricated on a GaAs Mes FeT process. This MMiC based module is a more reliable and consis- tent alternative to hybrid style i/Q Mixers and s ingle s ideband Converter assemblies. The module features removable s MA connectors which can be detached to allow direct connection of the modules i/O pins to a microstrip or coplanar circuit.
