LT1962 Series 300mA, Low Noise, Micropower LDO Regulators Fea T Descrip T n Low Noise: 20V (10Hz to 100kHz) The LT 1962 series are micropower, low noise, low dropout RMS n Output Current: 300mA regulators. The devices are capable of supplying 300mA n Low Quiescent Current: 30A of output current with a dropout voltage of 270mV. De- n Wide Input Voltage Range: 1.8V to 20V signed for use in battery-powered systems, the low 30A n Low Dropout Voltage: 270mV quiescent current makes them an ideal choice. Quiescent n Very Low Shutdown Current: < 1A current is well controlled it does not rise in dropout as it n No Protection Diodes Needed does with many other regulators. n Fixed Output Voltages: 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V, 5V A key feature of the LT1962 regulators is low output noise. n Adjustable Output from 1.22V to 20V With the addition of an external 0.01F bypass capacitor, n Stable with 3.3F Output Capacitor output noise drops to 20V over a 10Hz to 100kHz RMS n Stable with Aluminum, Tantalum or bandwidth. The LT1962 regulators are stable with output Ceramic Capacitors capacitors as low as 3.3F.
