This device supplies 500mA of output current with n Adjustable Output (V = V = 200mV) a typical dropout voltage of 160mV. The LT3021 is ideal REF OUT(MIN) n Fixed Output Voltages: 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V for low input voltage to low output voltage applications, n Stable with Low ESR, Ceramic Output Capacitors providing comparable electrical ef ciency to that of a (3.3F Minimum) switching regulator. n 0.2% Load Regulation from 0mA to 500mA The LT3021 regulator optimizes stability and transient n Quiescent Current: 120A (Typ) response with low ESR, ceramic output capacitors as small n 3A Typical Quiescent Current in Shutdown as 3.3F. Other LT3021 features include 0.05% typical line n Current Limit Protection regulation and 0.2% typical load regulation. In shutdown, n Reverse-Battery Protection quiescent current typically drops to 3A. n No Reverse Current n Internal protection circuitry includes reverse-battery pro- Thermal Limiting with Hysteresis n tection, current limiting, thermal limiting with hysteresis, 16-Pin DFN (5mm 5mm) and 8-Lead and reverse-current protection.
