LTC1383 5V Low Power RS232 Transceiver FEATURES DESCRIPTIO Operates from a Single 5V Supply The LTC 1383 is an ultra-low power 2-driver/2-receiver Low Supply Current: I = 220A RS232 transceiver that operates from a single 5V CC ESD Protection Over 10kV supply. The charge pump requires only four space- Available in 16-Pin SOIC Narrow Package saving 0.1F capacitors. The supply current (I ) of the CC Uses Small Capacitors: 0.1F transceiver is only 220A with driver outputs unloaded. Operates to 120kBaud The LTC1383 is fully compliant with all data rate and Output Overvoltage Does Not Force Current overvoltage RS232 specifications. The transceiver can Back into Supplies operate up to 120kbaud with a 2500pF, 3k load.
