LTC3026-1 1.5A Low Input Voltage VLDO Linear Regulator FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Input Voltage Range: 1.14V to 5.5V The LTC 3026-1 is a very low dropout (VLDO) linear n Low Dropout Voltage: 100mV at I = 1.5A regulator that can operate at input voltages down to OUT n Adjustable Output Range: 0.4V to 2.6V 1.14V. The device is capable of supplying 1.5A of output n Output Current: Up to 1.5A current with a typical dropout voltage of only 100mV. n Excellent Supply Rejection Even Near Dropout Output current comes directly from the input supply to n Shutdown Disconnects Load from V and V maximize efficiency. IN BST n Low Operating Current: The LTC3026-1 is the same as the LTC3026 but has the I = 95A at V = 1.5V IN IN boost converter internally disabled. With the boost con- I = 175A at V = 5V BIAS BIAS verter disabled, the SW pin of the LTC3026 is replaced with n Low Shutdown Current: a ground pin and the BST pin is replaced with a BIAS pin I < 1A (Typ), I = 0.1A (Typ) IN BST that requires an external 5V supply for operation. n Stable with 10F or Greater Ceramic Capacitors n The LTC3026-1 regulator is stable with 10F or greater Short-Circuit, Reverse Current Protected n ceramic output capacitors.
