POWER LOSS (mW) LTC3602 2.5A, 10V, Monolithic Synchronous Step-Down Regulator FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Wide Input Voltage Range: 4.5V to 10V The LTC 3602 is a high ef ciency, monolithic synchronous, n 2.5A Output Current step-down DC/DC converter utilizing a constant-frequency, n Low R Internal Switches: 65m and 90m current mode architecture. It operates from an input voltage DS(ON) n Programmable Frequency: 300kHz to 3MHz range of 4.5V to 10V and provides an adjustable regulated n Low Quiescent Current: 75A output voltage from 0.6V to 9.5V while delivering up to n 0.6V 1% Reference Allows Low Output Voltage 2.5A of output current. The internal synchronous power n 99% Maximum Duty Cycle switch with 65m on-resistance increases ef ciency n Adjustable Burst Mode Clamp and eliminates the need for an external Schottky diode. n Synchronizable to External Clock The switching frequency can either be set by an external n Power Good Output Voltage Monitor resistor or synchronized to an external clock. OPTI-LOOP n Overtemperature Protection compensation allows the transient response to be optimized n Available in 16-Lead Exposed TSSOP and over a wide range of loads and output capacitors. 4mm 4mm QFN Packages The LTC3602 can be con gured for either Burst Mode op- eration or forced continuous operation.
