The LTC3872IDDB#PBF is an integrated synchronous step-down switching regulator controller from Analog Devices. It is a dual output controller with independent pulse-width modulation (PWM) control of two synchronous buck regulators. It operates from an input voltage range from 4.5 V to 36 V, and provides two adjustable regulated output voltages ranging from 0.6 V to VIN with ±1.5% voltage regulation accuracy. The Dual PWM control provides precise current sharing between the two output channels, enabling them to run in parallel with up to 95% efficiency. The controller features a low quiescent current of 4 mA, low output voltage ripple, soft-start, an adjustable-frequency current mode PWM control, thermal shutdown protection and overtemperature protection, and programmable UVLO. The LTC3872IDDB#PBF is available as a Pb-free, space-saving 16-pin leaded thermally-enhanced QFN package for applications requiring maximum power density.
