LTC4211 Hot Swap Controller with Multifunction Current Control FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Allows Safe Board Insertion and Removal The LTC 4211 is a hot swap controller that allows a board from a Live Backplane to be safely inserted and removed from a live backplane. n Controls Supply Voltages from 2.5V to 16.5V An internal high side switch driver controls the gate of an n Programmable Soft-Start with Inrush Current external N-channel MOSFET for supply voltages ranging Limiting, No External Gate Capacitor Required from 2.5V to 16.5V.
