LTC4245 Multiple Supply Hot Swap 2 Controller with I C Compatible Monitoring FEATURES DESCRIPTIO TM TM Allows Safe Insertion into Live CompactPCI or The LTC 4245 Hot Swap controller allows a board to TM PCI Express Backplane be safely inserted and removed from a live backplane in 8-Bit ADC Monitors Current and Voltage multiple supply systems such as CompactPCI and PCI 2 TM I C /SMBus Interface Express. Dual-Level Circuit Breaker and Current Limit The device features adjustable dI/dt controlled soft start Bus Precharge Output and foldback limited inrush current. A dual-level timed Power Good Input with Timeout circuit breaker and fast current limit protect each supply Optional Latchoff or Autoretry After Faults against overcurrent faults. A power good input with timeout Alerts Host After Faults allows a downstream supply monitor to disconnect the Integrated LOCAL PCI RST Logic board supplies. The device can be con gured to function 36-Pin SSOP and 38-Pin (5mm 7mm) QFN without a 12V supply or with an extra 3.3V supply instead Packages of a 5V supply.
