LTM4604A Low Voltage, 4A DC/DC Module Regulator with Tracking FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Complete Standalone Power Supply The LTM 4604A is a complete 4A switch mode step-down n 1.75% Max Total DC Output Error (40C to 125C) Module (micromodule) regulator with 1.75% maxi- n Wide Input Voltage Range: 2.375V to 5.5V mum total output voltage error. Included in the package n 4A DC, 5A Peak Output Current are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor and n 0.8V to 5V Output all support components. Operating over an input voltage n Output Voltage Tracking range of 2.375V to 5.5V, the LTM4604A supports an out- TM n UltraFast Transient Response put voltage range of 0.8V to 5V, set by a single resistor. n Power Good Indicator This high efficiency design delivers up to 4A continuous n Current Mode Control current (5A peak). Only input and output capacitors are n Current Foldback Protection, Parallel/Current Sharing needed to complete the design. n Up to 95% Efficiency The 0.630mm LGA pads with 1.27mm pitch simplify n Programmable Soft-Start PCB layout by providing standard trace routing and via n Micropower Shutdown: I 7A Q placement.
