LTM8064 58V , 6A CVCC Step-Down IN Module Regulator Fea T Descrip T n Complete Step-Down Switch Mode Power Supply The LTM 8064 is a 58V , 6A, constant-voltage, constant- IN n CVCC: Constant-Voltage, Constant-Current current (CVCC), step-down Module (power module) n 2-Quadrant: Sources and Sinks Output Current regulator. Included in the package are the switching con- n Parallelable for Increased Output Current, troller, power switches, inductor and support components. Even from Different Voltage Sources Operating over an input voltage range of 6V to 58V, the n Adjustable Output Current Up to 7A When LTM8064 supports an output voltage range of 1.2V to Sourcing or 9.1A When Sinking 36V. CVCC operation allows the LTM8064 to accurately n Wide Input Voltage Range: 6V to 58V regulate its output current up to 7A when sourcing and n 1.2V to 36V Output Voltage 9.1A when sinking over the entire output range. The output n Selectable Switching Frequency: 100kHz to 1MHz current can be set by a control voltage, a single resistor or n (e1) RoHS Compliant Package a thermistor. To set the switching frequency, simply place n Programmable Soft-Start a resistor from the RT pin to ground. A resistor from FB n Tiny (16mm 11.9mm 4.92mm) Surface Mount to ground will set the output voltage. Only the bulk input BGA Package and output filter capacitors are needed to finish the design.
